Norman Hauge has been in a struggle with medical problems resulting in having to quit his job after 20+ years. After several failed options including different therapies, shots and medications. His doctors have ruled surgery the only option for pain relief. Norman is scheduled for his first hip replacement surgery November 20th, 2019 and with a few months of hopefully a smooth recovery he will have the second hip replaced in January. After his recovery from both total hip replacements the doctors will then decide if he will require a back surgery as well. The past 6+ months have seriously taken a toll on his ability to safely walk around without the use of a cane or walker. With all these injuries occurring at one time, it has taken away his outgoing, hardworking, independent characteristics. He is hopeful that after the surgeries and long recovery he will be able to take on daily tasks.
