We are doing a benefit for Chad to help with loss wages and medical bills due to his recent cancer diagnosis.

In March, Chad went to the ER with chest pains. They found he had aortic dissection or tear in his aorta. After spending several days in the hospital, they put him on meds to help lower his blood pressure. Some of the meds he was taking caused terrible abdominal pains.
After going to the ER several times for this, they did another CT scan and found a tumor on his pancreas. He had a biopsy done and found the tumor was cancerous. After a PET scan, they determined he also has cancer in the pancreas, but it hasn’t spread anywhere else, which we are thankful for.

After the scan, he ended up in ER later the week and found out he contracted CDiff. The last few weeks he has made several visits to ER to get bags of fluid from being dehydrated from the CDiff. Throughout all this, Chad has missed a lot of work and spent numerous times in the hospital since March.

His pancreatic cancer journey is not over, and he will have surgery on July 30th. He will be out of work for at least a month after surgery if not longer.

Chad is a great father to his two daughters, Janae and Jayda and his wife Alina. All have been impacted by Chad’s health diagnosis and want to support him to remain healthy for the future. Chad’s band, Last Call and all his friends and family wish a speedy recovery from surgery and hope this benefit will help support his family.
