A little background for those who may not know Barb well or at all. She is a wonderful mom to 4 kids and 2 grandkids. She grew up in Winona, MN and had been living in Houston for the majority of her adult life, only recently relocating back to Winona a couple years ago. She is usually described as a kind and thoughtful person, who puts others people’s needs before hers. She lost her husband of 18 years at the young age of 39 leaving her to raise her 4 kids by herself. She’s spent many years working as a CNA and then in the school district as a cook/dietary aide in the kitchen. She wants to take advantage of this blessing and spend time with the people she loves, especially her granddaughters and get back to living a healthy giving life!
