DRIVING IN SILENCE MAY BE THE MINDFULNESS HACK YOU NEED

I’ve been doing this for quite a while but it’s trending again on TikTok, so figured I’d share. I listen to a 5 minute podcast on my way to work every morning and then drive the rest of the way in silence. Some days, the whole way home has no sound. It really allows you to check in with your self, mentally and physically, and gives you a chance to reset a little, too.

I found an article on Bustle yesterday that I really liked, you can check it out here, and here’s the first TikTok I saw about it, well after I’d started doing it, that I may have said “YES!” out loud when I watched it the first time 😉

Where I may draw the line is Emily here, who did a 30 hour silent road trip. I’m not sure I could do it, but good for her!
