12+ HOURS OF MUSIC PLANNED FOR UNSHELTERED AND VETERAN BENEFIT EVENT
Written by Ballzer on November 7, 2024
This Sunday, from 11 am til midnight, a ton of talented musicians will take 2(!) stages at the Popcorn Tavern in downtown La Crosse for a few local causes.
As we enter the winter months, the people who need help the most are the most vulnerable populations in La Crosse, our un-sheltered neighbors. And as we approach November 11th, Veterans Day reminds us that our Veterans deserve the utmost care for their sacrifice.
Serendipity Hope Foundation, in collaboration with Hopey Hour & Bridges United Methodist Church, is hosting an event to raise funds for WINN (What I Need Now), Wafer Food Pantry, and La Crosse Area Veteran Mentor Program to support those in these communities. The Popcorn Tavern will also donate 20% of sales from the day to the cause as well.
Steve Keating, from The Popcorn and Serendipity Hope, came in to talk about the event and where the funds will support:
