Wisconsin Association of Treatment Court Professionals Zcare Donation
Written by Ballzer on October 28, 2024
The Wisconsin Association of Treatment Court Professionals is a professional organization representing the interests of treatment courts in the State of Wisconsin.
The organization is made up of teams from over 100 Treatment and Problem-Solving Courts in the State of Wisconsin, including Adult Drug Courts, OWI Treatment Courts, Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts, Mental Health Courts, Veterans Treatment Courts, and more. They strive to support these courts in providing transformative justice as an alternative to incarceration. Studies show that providing treatment as an alternative to incarceration helps to reduce recidivism and increase the number of those who were once in the justice system to become productive members of their communities.
Recently, the WATCP Board of Directors created a Graduate Education Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships to those who have graduated any of their statewide Treatment Courts and are interested in pursuing higher education.
Thanks to our sponsors, Optical Fashions and River Valley Remodelers, Zcare was able to donate $500 to WATCP for their Graduate Education Scholarship Fund.
