Google Trends released their annual top searches for Halloween Costumes. No surprises here, numerous Beetlejuice Beetlejuice costumes made the list, cleverly titled “Fright Geist.”
I thought that the Deetz family members would be higher on the list, but I forgot how amazing a Shrunken Head Bob costume will be!
This year’s top overall costumes are:
1 Shrunken Head Bob
“beetlejuice shrunken head” is the top searched shrunken head of all time
2 Raygun
People searching “raygun costume” are also searching for “green and yellow track suit” and “green track pants”
3 Catnap
“catnap” is the top searched Smiling Critter of all time
4 Delores (from Beetlejuice)
“fake staples” became a breakout search the day Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was released
5 Pomni
“pomni costume” searches reached an all time high this year
6 Envy (from Inside Out)
“what does envy mean” is the top question searched for Envy from Inside Out this year
7 Red (from Descendants)
“who is red the daughter of in descendants” is a top searched question for Descendants: The Rise of Red this year
8 Dr. Doom
the Marvel Comics supervillain
9 Sabrina Carpenter
“heart corset” is being searched more than ever in 2024, and Sabrina Carpenter is the top person searched with it
10 Lady Deadpool
“Lady Deadpool costume” became a breakout search the day that Deadpool & Wolverine was released in US theaters
