2024 has been a year for the books.
Sure, it’s been a little messy. We’ve got a contentious election season underway. But one thing is for sure, it’s been great for music. And we’ve seen some truly awesome music come our way over the last several months.
Billboard released a 2024 Songs of the Summer chart Tuesday, and for the second year in a row, country has taken the top two spots.
Here’s the top 10
- “I Had Some Help”, Post Malone and Morgan Wallen
- “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”, Shaboozey
- “Not Like Us”, Kendrick Lamar
- “Espresso”, Sabrina Carpenter
- “Million Dollar Baby”, Tommy Richman
- “Please Please Please”, Sabrina Carpenter
- “Too Sweet”, Hozier
- “Lose Control”, Teddy Swims
- “Birds of a Feather”, Billie Eilish
- “Beautiful Things”, Benson Boone
Some honorable mentions (in my personal opinion)
Kesha “Joyride”
Charli Xcx feat Billie Eilish “Guess”
Chappell Roan “Good Luck, Babe”
