Have you stumbled across the YouTube channel “Drumeo”?

What they do is a they take a popular drummer, have them a song that they’ve never heard before without the drum part. The musician comes up with their own drums and at the end, they compare how similar the new and original parts match up. It’s really very interesting.

A recent post to the Drumeo features the Blue Man Group, a performance art group known for their unique music and comedic antics. The task was to have them listen to My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome To The Black” and give their own take on the song.
