FREE DISABILITY PRIDE FEST OF LA CROSSE IS THIS SATURDAY!

The Disability Action Network invites you to celebrate and connect with your community at the third annual Disability Pride Fest of La Crosse! This year’s event is Saturday, July 20th at Logan High from 11a-4p. Their festival celebrates the strengths and talents of people with disabilities in our community. DAN Board Member Meme came in to tell us what to expect:
You’ll enjoy food vendors, presentations, performances, and fun activities that showcase what people can do. Try Pickleball, watch a Power Soccer Demo, join in Drums Alive-Drummercise, play the Paralympic sport of Bocce, and test your luck at Bingo.
They want to make sure everyone can join in, with sign language interpreters, easy-to-understand information, accessible bathrooms, and a quiet space.
