Jesse Reviews Noah Kahan’s Weekend Stop In St. Paul

And Minnesota clearly loved you too, Noah!
The second that Noah Kahan announced he was hitting the road on a North American tour, we made a point to snatch tickets the second they went on sale. And it was six months of anticipation and telling anyone who would listen we were going to the show.
Finally, show day had arrived.
We made our way to St Paul Friday and had a little time to kill so we hailed an Uber hung out on the patio at St Paul Brewing, located in the old Hamm’s Brewery.
Then, it was show time. Around 9:15 the lights went down at Xcel Energy Center and I don’t think I’ve experienced a crowd reaction like that. These folks were ready.
After Noah opened the show, he made a mention that, “There’s a LOT of people here!”. Roughly 14,000 or so. But also said that he’s played First Avenue and 7th Street Entry more times than he could count. A nice nod to the local crowd.
Close to the end of the show, Noah made his way to the back of the room to a smaller stage where he played three songs. And we had some of the best seats in the house.
All in all, it was a fabulous time! The crowd was fun, the sound was great, the band was excellent. And finally getting to hear Noah’s stuff live was breathtaking. If you’re seeing him at some point during his run this summer, you are in for a treat.
