NOTORIOUS B.I.G., GREEN DAY, DOUG E. FRESH AND SLICK RICK AMONG ADDITIONS TO NATIONAL RECORDING REGISTRY

For the past 25 years, the Library of Congress has been adding songs to their National Recording Registry. The late The Notorious B.I.G makes the list with his debut studio album, “Ready to Die,” along with Hip Hop pioneers Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick’s 1985 smash “La-Di-Da-Di.” The Chicks pop in with their 1998 success “Wide Open Spaces,” and Green Day’s 1994 album “Dookie” also made the list.
