Caitlin Clark Breaks Another Scoring Record Wednesday Night Against Minnesota

The “Caitlin Clark” effect was on full display Wednesday night as the University of Iowa Women’s Basketball team squared off against the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Williams Arena.
Over 14,000 fans witnessed history as Clark surpassed the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women’s large-college record of 3,649 career points held by Lynette Woodard, according to KMSP-TV
Caitlin is close to breaking the all-time Division 1 scoring record of 3,667 points, currently held by Pete Maravich.
If that wasn’t enough, Clark set the record for career 3-pointers made for not only the Big Ten Conference but for the NCAA’s 3-pointers made in a single season record.
The Hawkeyes ended up routing the Gophers 108-60. Clark walked away Wednesday with a triple-double. 33 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.
