Crystal Hefner’s new book, Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, available now, shares her “raw and unflinching look at the objectification and misogyny of the Playboy mansion, her stolen young adulthood, and her journey to finding internal validation, while providing a rare look into the final days of one of the most influential men of the 20th century.”
Crystal Hefner recently sat down for an interview to discuss her 10-year experience in the Playboy Mansion, specifically as Hugh Hefner’s wife. The two got married in 2012. Hugh was 86 years old and Crystal was just 26. They were still married at the time of Hugh’s passing in September 2017. Crystal, now 37, shares “a fascinating look behind the scenes at a powerful cultural icon and brand, but also offers an equally powerful and counterintuitive voice and hard-won lessons about who and what determines our value.” Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, is available now.
