USA Today Looking For Writer To Cover Beyonce/Taylor Swift News

USA Today and The Tennessean newspaper is looking for beat reporters to follow the pop stars and the pay is really nothing to sneeze at. They’re going to pay $21.63 to $50.87 an hour, depending on your “standom”. So that has you sitting at over $100k a year if you turn that into a full time position.
According to Rolling Stone:
For the Swift position, the newspapers’ parent company, Gannett Co., Inc., wants “an experienced, video-forward journalist to capture the music and cultural impact of Taylor Swift.” The job listing explains: “Swift’s fanbase has grown to unprecedented heights, and so has the significance of her music and growing legacy. We are looking for an energetic writer, photographer and social media pro who can quench an undeniable thirst for all things Taylor Swift with a steady stream of content across multiple platforms.
In addition to applying with a resume, applicants are expected to include a “video cover letter”. That way, if you’re selected for the job, fans of either artists will immediately know who you are.
