ELLEN BURSTYN IS BACK IN NEW EXORCIST TRAILER

David Gordon Green directed the last 3 Halloween movies and his next film will be the first in a new Exorcist trilogy. The first trailer is out and it’s our first look at the return of Ellen Burstyn!

Ellen played the mother of Linda Blair’s possessed Regan in the 1974 original, but wasn’t in any of the other Exorcist films. Apparently her character has been busy since the events of the first film, studying exorcisms in different cultures, to become quite the expert.

We also learn in the trailer that the new movie centers around a pair of young girls disappear for a few days and are disturbingly different when they return.
