ED SHEERAN OPENED FOR HIMSELF AFTER KHALID WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT

Saturday night, Khalid was supposed to open for Ed Sheeran in Maryland but he was in a car accident. Sheeran told the crowd he wasn’t seriously injured. “He is recovering, and we wish him the best.” Khalid shared on his Insta story that he is okay, and resting.
Sheeran played an acoustic set of songs from his new album but shared that people walking in might be confused. ‘This show isn’t what I thought it was. I thought there’d be more fireworks.’

He reminisced about his days as an opening act, that there’s less pressure, and performing when it’s light out! “Usually when I start playing, it’s like pitch-black and now I get to see everyone. It’s awesome,” he told the crowd. “This is pretty fun.”
