MINNEAPOLIS TO BE RENAMED “SWIFTIE-APOLIS” AHEAD OF WEEKEND SHOWS

More than 500k people are set to travel to Downtown Minneapolis this weekend between Pride and The Eras Tour coming to US Bank Stadium.
And to mark this momentous occasion, Minneapolis mayor, Jacob Frey announced Wednesday that the city will be renamed, “Swiftie-Apolis”
According to Fox 9:
“We are embarking on what will be one of the most exciting weekends in the city of Minneapolis. With Pride plus Taylor Swift, we are expecting more than half a million people, and we are going to be prepared. It’s better than our wildest dreams,” said Frey on Wednesday.
You may remember the story that Metro Transit wouldn’t be extending their light rail services after the show. Well it seems that they have changed their tune. They announced that they’ll be increasing bus and train services before and after the show.
