‘MOON TUNES’ SUMMER CONCERT SERIES IN RIVERSIDE PARK
Written by Ballzer on June 1, 2023
Moon Tunes of La Crosse is a Valley Rotary Project bringing free concerts to Riverside Park most Thursdays, in the summer, from 5:30 to 8:00pm.
Terry Bauer, one of the Moon Tunes founders, stopped by to fill us in on what to expect this summer!
You are allowed to bring your own food and beverages down to the park with you. However, you can also plan to bring some cash with you to purchase and enjoy beverages from Pearl Street Brewery, food trucks, ice cream from The Pearl, popcorn, and beverages from the youth rotary club members, and more.
Bring a chair or blanket, as there is limited seating at the bandshell. There will be limited handicap accessible parking in Riverside, however please plan to park in a surface area parking lot or in the parking ramps, in downtown. The parking lot located at the corner of 2nd and State Streets is a donation parking lot, with proceeds going to the Central High School Band program. There will also be a bike corral, from Beer By Bike Brigade and Smith’s Bike Shop, in the park if you’d like to arrive by bicycle.
Donations are always appreciated, as it does cost money to bring these shows to you each week, so watch for the bucket at each show to contribute what you’re willing and able to.
Thanks to Rotary Club of La Crosse-Valley View, and all who volunteer, for presenting our beautiful city with such an amazing summer event! For all upcoming events, follow Moon Tunes La Crosse on Facebook!
