Last night on American Idol, the top 8 contestants were revealed and we got a big surprise announcement!
Ed Sheeran and Alanis Morissette will fill in for Katy Perry and Lionel Richie on Sunday, May 7, as they have been asked to perform for the coronation of King Charles III! Luke’s invite must have gotten lost in the mail. #awkward
Rumor is the contestants will sing a Morissette song and then will team up for duets of Sheeran’s hit songs. Of course, we’re hoping there will also be performances from both Alanis and Ed!
