DIAMOND RING FOUND IN MINNESOTA WASTE TREATMENT PLANT

Talk about a diamond in the…rough.
Workers at a wastewater treatment plant in the Twin Cities found a diamond ring in their facility and now are trying to track down the owner. In a Facebook post, the Metropolitan Council described it as a “rare event that’s close to winning the lottery”
The ring was found by workers in March in a piece of separating equipment. According to the Met Council, they’re not showing photos of the ring but it does have features that are unique and distinctive.
According to Fox 9 in Minneapolis:
If anyone lost a ring down the drain, you’re asked to reach out to the Environmental Services staff with a photo of the lost ring, the city where it was lost and your contact information. Send it all to MCES-Inquiries@metc.state.mn.us or call 651-602-1269.
The whole situation is giving “I wanted to get rid of this ring for reasons”, so perhaps the original owner doesn’t want anything to do with it? Just my two cents.
