Black River Falls Inmates Help Train Service Dogs

Over the years a Twin Cities non-profit, Can-Do Canines, has aided 800 people by matching dogs with folks in need of their services. The organization has brought 60-100 dogs into prisons in Minnesota and Wisconsin and teaches inmates how to train the animals once a week.
They teach the dogs 70 different commands and after the training, they’re able to pick up items, open doors and help their owners in case of emergency.
But in the end, the inmates also learn life lessons by training these dogs and help people on the outside. Take a look at the story below.
