ROCKONSIN 2023 – JOIN THE YOUTH COMPETITION TO PERFORM AT SUMMERFEST

The chance to cross “Playing Summerfest” off your bucket list is back. ROCKONSIN is a Wisconsin statewide garage band competition for 7th – 12th grade musicians of all musical genres. It’s free to upload a video of your band’s performance by April 30 to apply.
We caught up with Dennis Graham, founder/producer of ROCKONSIN, to get the info on this year’s contest:
The top ten 2023 ROCKONSIN State Finalist bands, announced May 15, will compete & be showcased at Summerfest – The World’s Largest Music Festival. All finalist bands will perform 20 minute sets each and will receive two Shure mics. The winning band will also receive a Shure wireless vocal microphone system. The winning & runner-up bands will each receive a second 40 minute gig at Summerfest in addition to recording time at Madison’s Blast House Studios.
