The Last Blockbuster Video Sees HUGE Sales After Super Bowl Ad

If you’re thinking, “I don’t remember a Blockbuster Video ad during the Super Bowl”, it’s because they ran it on social media during the Halftime show. And because of the ad, they saw a 200 percent rise in sales.
TMZ reported that this is a slow time of year for the store as they normally rely on tourists stopping by and renting movies (something you can still do there), but they also make a profit selling merch. Things like hats, shirts and sweatpants.
Sandi Harding, the general manager of the store also mentioned that not only did they see a huge spike in sales, the production of the spot was on a modest budget and an ad agency in New York donated their time.
