HISTORY OF THE WORLD PART II COMING TO HULU

History of the World Part I came out in 1981. My favorite part about Mel Brooks’s historical parody was that there was no part 2, I thought that was a fantastic gag. After seeing the trailer, and the impressive cast, for Hulu’s 4-part sequel, I’m on board to give it a shot.
It’s seems to be set up similar the to original movie, with sketches centered around different events in history, so it’s no surprise that they scored a lot of comedy greats.
It stars Wanda Sykes, Kumail Nanjiani, Taika Waititi, Sarah Silverman, Josh Gad, Nick Kroll, Ike Barinholtz, Sam Richardson, Danny Devito, Jack Black, David Duchovny, Lauren Lapkus, JB Smoove, Jack McBrayer, Jake Johnson, Johnny Knoxville, Seth Rogen, and a ton more!
While it’s not the “Main Room,” Hulu is a solid home for the sequel. The first two episodes drop March 4 followed by the next two days debuting one more episode each day. I don’t see Mel in the cast list or in the trailer, so he may not star in this film like the original, but it looks like his trademark comedic style is all over this series.
