DAMAR HAMLIN LAUNCHES CHALLENGE TO ENCOURAGE MORE PEOPLE TO LEARN CPR
Written by Ballzer on February 1, 2023
Buffaol Bills safety, Damar Hamlin, collapsed on the field during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Jan. 2. Bills assistant athletic trainer Denny Kellington performed life-saving CPR on Hamlin. According to ESPN, “A variety of first responders, Bills athletic, training and medical staff members, medical personnel and health care providers that played a role in Hamlin’s recovery.”
Without that CPR, it is likely that Damar wouldn’t still be here. He’s decided to encourage others to learn CPR to save lives in the future. The Damar Hamlin #3forheart CPR Challenge kicks off National Heart Month by asking you to learn CPR, donate to the American Heart Association, and share the challenge with others.
