U.S. Bank Stadium Announcing “Major” Concert Friday
Written by Jesse on January 5, 2023
The home of the Minnesota Vikings already has a pretty stacked concert schedule in the near future. Taylor Swift in June, Red Hot Chili Peppers in April, Metallica in August 2024. But in a press release sent out today, former Vikings legend, John Randle will be on hand to announce “one of the biggest shows of the year”
According to Bring Me The News:
The only clue offered in the press call is a note that Randle and representatives of concert promoters Live Nation and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority will “reveal artists for one of this year’s biggest concerts coming to U.S. Bank Stadium.” Randle will also reveal “personalized Vikings jerseys for the artists,” which suggests either a band or multiple acts.
Ok, “Jerseys for the artists”. After reading the article, my thought immediately went to Beyonce, who’s rumored to be touring stadiums this summer. But “artists” plural, certainly is throwing me off that idea. Could it be Foo Fighters? They just made an announcement that they’re carrying on as a band. And they did have to cancel their show there after Taylor Hawkins passed away. That’s my guess at least. Well I guess we’ll all have to find out tomorrow!
