When it comes down to it, it’s a lot easier to buy Christmas gifts for your pet than your in-laws. Your pet will love whatever you got them and won’t complain about a gift behind your back.
According to CBS News:
34% of Americans will be purchasing a gift for their dog this year, as opposed to 19% who will be purchasing a gift for their in-laws.
Roughly 22% of cats will be receiving gifts.
And that’s even with people spending less. The average American will be spending about $200 less than they normally would on gifts and cutting back on non-essentials. Goes to show who takes the high priority in our lives.
