The Internet’s Favorite Thanksgiving Tradition Goes On For 7th Year

What started with a text message to a wrong number has led to a wholesome Thanksgiving tradition. You may remember the story of how Wanda Dench sent a text to whom she thought was her grandchildren but ended up contacting Jamal Hinton.

Jamal explained that Wanda had the wrong number but asked if he could still get a plate, and Wanda said, “Of course! That’s what grandma’s do!” The story went extremely viral and social media loved it!

So fast forward to now, plans have been set for them to ring in turkey day together for the 7th year in a row.

And just like that, faith in humanity is somewhat restored!
