EMINEM ON THE VERGE OF “EGOT”

You did not read that incorrectly. Eminem is a Tony award shy of winning an EGOT. Which, can only mean a Broadway rendition of his life isn’t too far away, right? Well, we can dream.

Em has won a whopping 15 Grammys and he was awarded the Oscar for Best Original Song for “Lose Yourself” on the 8 Mile soundtrack back in 2003

According to Deadline.com:

Slim Shady became an Emmy award winner when the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show won for Outstanding Variety Special. The rapper joined Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent during the halftime presentation of the Super Bowl that saw the Los Angeles Rams face off the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium earlier this year. For 12 minutes, the Inglewood stadium sang all the hit songs from the talent on stage.

I had no idea that you could win an Emmy award for a Super Bowl Halftime show! But if there was a halftime show to win a major entertainment award, it’s certainly not shocking that it would be that one.
