Breaking down barriers and making history! Sandra Douglass Morgan is a 44-year-old African American woman from Nevada. She is the first black woman to become an NFL President, as the new president of the Las Vegas Raiders.
According to Wikipedia, “Sandra Douglass Morgan is an American attorney and executive. Prior to her tenure with the Raiders, she served on the Nevada State Athletic Commission and was the chairwoman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board among other roles.”
ESPN says, “Morgan emphasized leadership and full transparency during her introductory news conference at Allegiant Stadium.” Sandra said, “We have so much more to do, and I’m excited to be at the helm of that growth and look forward to ushering in the new chapter for the Raiders. The fact is I have accepted this role because I believe in the promise of the Raiders, I believe in the future of the Raiders, and I believe in this organization’s tenets of community, integrity and, most of all, commitment to excellence.”
