CELEBRATE THE SUMMER SOLSTICE WITH MAKE MUSIC DAY LA CROSSE!

Make Music Day started in France in 1982, and it has grown to be in over 1000 cities in 120 countries. It is a free celebration of music around the world, held annually on June 21st, the Summer Solstice, and December 21st, the Winter Solstice.

Toni Asher, Executive Director of the Pump House Regional Arts Center, first heard about Make Music Day a few years ago and worked with other local non-profits to bring it to La Crosse for the first time last year.

Allison Krzych, the Assistant Director and Non-Profit Administrator of the Pump House, filled us in on all the fun for 2022:
