So, your favorite band is touring this summer. And of course you’re going to go but you already know that you’re going to get hit with crazy fees. FinanceBuzz.com has some tips on how to save money when it comes to getting into the show.
They found that if you’re buying tickets on the secondary market (i.e. StubHub, etc), you can save about 33 percent by buying your tickets the day of the show. Most sellers at that point are just looking to get some sort of return if they’re not able to go.
If you’re checking out a music festival, they found that you’re likely to save about 30 percent if you buy about two weeks out.
Now it maybe stressful waiting until the last minute but if you save on going to the show, why not chance it?
