WICKED MOVIE ADAPTATION WILL NEED TWO MOVIES

In November, it was announced that a movie based on the Broadway smash, Wicked is in the works. Ariana Grande will star as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo is set to play Elphaba.

Ari and Cynthia both posted pics from the score making us think something was up. The next image from both stars included Twitter announcement from director Jon M. Chu.

Turns out, they have so much awesomeness, they’ll need two movies to tell the whole story. Wisely, it looks like they’ll only be released a year apart so you don’t have to worry about waiting numerous years to see the second part. If everything goes according to plan…
