NEWLY DISCOVERED MILLIPEDE SPECIES NAMED TAYLOR SWIFT

Virginia Tech researchers discovered 16 different species in the Appalachian Mountains in the US last week. One of those was a twisted-claw millipede, named Nannaria Swiftae by lead author Derek A. Hennen.
According to Phys.org, Hennen said, “Her music helped me get through the highs and lows of graduate school, so naming a new millipede species after her is my way of saying thanks.”
No word on if TayTay is flattered or creeped out. Probably both. He also named one after his wife. Look at these beasts!
This new millipede species is Nannaria swiftae: I named it after @taylorswift13! I'm a big fan of her music, so I wanted to show my appreciation by naming this new species from Tennessee after her. A high honor! pic.twitter.com/fXml3xX5Vs
