Mom On TikTok Explains She Will Charge Her 16 Year Old Rent

There’s a trend on TikTok going around where parents are describing a rule that they have that other parents may not agree with.
One woman in the discussion starts off saying that when her kids turn 13, they’re allowed to cuss. As long as they use the words in context and they’re no disrespectful to other adults. Adding that her kids will address adults as “sir” or ma’am”
Her kids must leave her alone in the morning until she’s had her first cup of coffee. And at 16, the kids will get a job, a driver’s license and will be required to pay rent. But here’s the catch, she saves the rent and gives it back to her kid when they move out. Which evens out to a pretty solid nest-egg.
