It would certainly be helpful if could get a break from dilemmas for just a hot second, wouldn’t it?

An invasive species of spider called the Large Joro spider is expected to pop up on the east coast this summer. They’ve made sporadic appearances since 2013 but experts are saying that MILLIONS of the spiders could DROP OUT OF THE SKY by this spring.

Although the Large Joro spider is about the size of a child’s hand, they’re reportedly harmless to humans as their fangs are too small to break skin.

Some additional “Fun Facts” about the Joro Spider according to Axios:

They are bright yellow, black, blue, and red and can grow up to 3 inches. They likely traveled across the globe on shipping containers, similar to the Bubonic plague. Their life cycle begins in early spring, but they get big in June and are often seen in July and August.

Just look at this ridiculous thing!

A creepy, large yellow and black spider with a bulbous body being held by a human hand. It's nearly the same size as the hand.

But really, if we could just focus on one crazy situation at once, that would be great.
