JOHN CENA IS BACK AS “THE PEACEMAKER” IN HBO MAX SERIES
Written by Ballzer on January 12, 2022
John Cena played The Peacemaker in the latest Suicide Squad film, and he’s reprising his role in a new series, on HBO Max, debuting Thursday, January 13.
“The Peacemaker explores the continuing story of the character that John Cena reprises in the aftermath of executive producer James Gunn’s 2021 film The Suicide Squad – a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it!” Sounds intense, but there’s actually quite a lot of humor too.
Heads up! The trailer contains explicit language and some violence that might be inappropriate for certain audiences.
“The series stars John Cena as Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Harcourt, Chukwudi Iwuji as Murn, Steve Agee as Economos and Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith.”
Adding it to my list now!
