LA CROSSE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PRESENTS ‘AN OLD WORLD HOLIDAY’
Written by Ballzer on December 8, 2021
The La Crosse Symphony Orchestra is getting ready for their holiday concerts, happening December 17th and 18th at Viterbo University’s Fine Arts Center. Dominique Luecke, the Executive Director from the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra, stopped in to tell us about the show:
The La Crosse Symphony Orchestra’s website describes the show: “Christmas and Hanukkah traditions come together in a joyous musical Holiday celebration, paying tribute to our Coulee region and full of the flavor of Old Vienna. Katherine Weber — Holmen native, Viterbo graduate, and now making an operatic career in Europe — joins the LSO for some of the very greatest Holiday gems for soprano and orchestra. And in another LSO tradition, the young musicians of the La Crosse Area Youth Symphony Orchestra join forces with our artists onstage to create another memorable evening, performing timeless scenes from the most beloved of Christmastime operas.”
