6-YEAR-OLD BOY GIVES INSPIRATIONAL HOCKEY SPEECH- CUTENESS OVERLOAD
Written by Ballzer on December 2, 2021
This kid has a lot of passion, and I’m here for it! 6-year-old Callan Perks, from Ontario, won the opportunity to address his favorite hockey team. He submitted a video of his passionate pre-game speech, and it’s been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
Toronto.CTVnews says, “OHL team Peterborough Petes held their ‘Next Gen’ game on Sunday, where kids sign single-day contracts to see what it’s like to be part of a professional hockey league.”
Callan’s mom apparently told him about the chance to audition for the event and Callan said, he “just had to win.”
The audition video has racked up more than 55,000 views in just a few days. He was then selected as head coach for the Next Gen game. “On Sunday, wearing a suit and tie, Callan, who admits he was slightly nervous, entered the dressing room to give his passionate speech to his hockey idols.”

On Sunday while Coach Wilson was away at the Capital Cup, Coach Cal delivered this electrifying speech that led the boys to a 3-2 victory over the @Ottawa67sHockey during Next Gen night! pic.twitter.com/DZwFRpBIML
If that speech didn’t motivate the players, I don’t know what would! Absolutely adorable!
