Rochester Day Trip

Are you looking for a day road trip for some shopping and delicious food? Our go-to day road trip is to Rochester, Mn. There’s so much to do, and it’s only an hour’s drive from Lacrosse. My best friend Magan and I went to Rochester for a girl’s day, and I’ll share below my favorite stops while I’m visiting! 

Flowers by Jerry

Flowers by Jerry is a lush floral greenhouse and gift boutique. They sell the cutest and most unique gifts. Each season I love buying their homemade dry floral arrangements. They’re perfect for decorating each season! They just started putting out their Christmas decorations, and they’re so cute. If you’re looking for a spot to take photos, Flowers by Jerry has the prettiest flower mural and greenhouse! 

Crave Rooftop

Crave features a year-round rooftop experience with the most delicious food and beautiful views of historic downtown Rochester! My favorite is their specialty cocktails, truffle Parmesan fries, lobster max and cheese, and sushi. My favorite sushi rolls are the King Kong and Godzilla. It’s a must stop while visiting Rochester! 

Trader Joe’s

When visiting Rochester, we always stock up on our favorite groceries at Trader Joe’s! We especially love all their seasonal items. They offer a variety of signature items, gluten, and dairy-free food, produce, and beer and wine. It’s hands down my favorite grocery store, so it honestly might be a good thing we don’t have one in Lacrosse? 

Nupa

Nupa is Mediterranean cuisine and has the best gyro you will ever have. Every time I visit Rochester, it’s a must-stop! My favorite thing on the menu is the gyro salad. The gyro salad has romance lettuce, onions, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, kalamata olives, pepperonis, feta cheese, broiled gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, and a side of pita bread. It’s seriously my top ten meals of all time. Don’t forget to order a side of there fries there a must have.
