The UWL Turkey Trot is a 5k Run/Walk event on Saturday, November 20 at the UWL Recreational Eagle Center in La Crosse. This is the La Crosse area’s original Turkey Trot.
The 26th annual UWL 5k Turkey Trot run, and walk, is La Crosse’s original Trot. It has become a tradition for many friends and families throughout the region. The event includes a costume contest, coloring contest and Junior Gobbler races which feature a dash and half-mile race for younger trotters. Awards are given in the 5k race to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three male and female finishers in each age group, and to the top three male and female participants who finish closest to their predicted finish time. Bundle up, wear a costume, bring the kids in strollers, and let’s do this!
