ZCARE SUPPORTS THE CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS

Mid-West Family La Crosse had the pleasure of being part of the CMN Radiothon, and it was such a humbling experience. We interviewed Gundersen Health System staff members and families who have been impacted by the generosity of CMN. During the 2-day radiothon, we highlighted many of the ways the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals assists families and children specifically when they’re faced with the unimaginable. We helped make miracles happen by encouraging community members to donate via calls, texts and online donations. We used the power of radio on three of our stations, Z93, KQ98, and 95.7 The Rock, our social media platforms, and our Live-Stream at AroundRiverCity.com, to spread the word.

Thanks to our partners Builders Flooring and Optical Fashions, ZCare presented the Children’s Miracle Network with a donation for $1,000!

“There are more than 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals throughout the United States and Canada that all share the same mission — to treat the whole child and provide care regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, like Gundersen Health System, care for all children with any medical problem.” CMN provides educational materials, medical equipment, therapy services, meals, gas cards, and so much more.

The radiothon was only 2 days of gathering funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, however funds are always needed to continue support for children and families in our community. Please consider donating, at any time, to help make miracles happen in the Tri-State area.
