JUST FINISHED ‘MIDNIGHT MASS’ ON NETFLIX- I’M SHOOK

‘Midnight Mass’ on Netflix…WOW. I was pretty excited about the cast. Zach Gilford from “Friday Night Lights” and “Good Girls”, Hamish Linklater from “New Adventures of Old Christine”, and several characters from “The Haunting of Hill House”. Great cast. The plot, well…that’s a little tricky.

The description on Netflix says, “The arrival of a charismatic young priest brings glorious miracles, ominous mysteries and renewed religious fervor to a dying town desperate to believe.” Yes, that happens. But, it’s so much more than that. Be prepared for some gore, pop-up scares, and some unsettling scenes. Definitely not for children and teens might even be questionable. You watch it first and then use your judgement.

This trailer does a pretty decent job, but it’s even more intense and chilling than what they tease us with! If you’re open minded about religion (because this is intense), you like scary stuff, and the idea of possible miracles…go ahead and watch. It’s a limited series with only 7 episodes. I blew threw it fairly quickly because it definitely held my interest!

It was very good, but I’m definitely sitting here going…”what in the actual (bleep) just happened!”
