RIVER CITY YOUTH HOCKEY HOSTING FREE “TRY HOCKEY” DAYS

River City Youth Hockey is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization committed to making hockey accessible to all children of La Crosse, regardless of their socioeconomic status or background.
Find out how to get your kids involved in hockey and try it out for free with River City Youth Hockey Association. Bring your kids down to Green Island to try out the fastest game on ice for free! Their first event is October 10th, 2:00-4:00pm. We caught up with coach and volunteer Lucas Schwaller to get more info on their programs and this event:
RCYH operates and maintains the only indoor ice rink in the city of La Crosse, Green Island. Green Island is home to curling and figure skating clubs, in addition to Coulee Region Sled Hockey, which is an organization that brings the sport of hockey to children and adults with physical challenges. They primarily serves children ages 4-16, and have over 100 players currently in the program.
They have another event scheduled November 6th, 10:00-Noon and this one includes Free Pizza!
