THE HOLMEN AREA COMMUNITY CENTER-OPEN HOUSE EVENT

The Holmen Area Community Center is inside the Dave & Barb Skogen Boys & Girls Club, located at 600 N. Holmen Drive in Holmen, Wisconsin. The community center was built to “sustain a welcoming community center that connects all generations.” The mission is to “promote hospitality, respect for all generations, and community pride through purposeful programming that enriches the lives of both young and old and everyone in between.   It is our intent to create a model that will define roles and expectations to the extent that future collaborations will be celebrated and endorsed.”

Executive director, Jacob Hart talked with us about the community center and the open house coming up this Thursday, August 19.

Join the partners in the Dave & Barb Skogen Boys & Girls Club facility – Skogen Boys & Girls Club, Holmen Area Community Center and School District of Holmen from 5-7p.m. Enjoy tours, program demonstrations and community conversation. There will be a brief program at 6 p.m. in the gymnasium. Location is 600 N. Holmen Drive, in the former Festival Foods.
