HEAD START CENTERS NOW ENROLLING

Head Start Child & Family Development Centers serve over 400 kids in La Crosse, Monroe, and Vernon Counties. The majority of their families are low income and Head Start helps prepare children for school. Enrollment is now open for the 2021-2022 school year.

Head Start offers free 3 ½ hour preschool program for children ages 3-5 years old and a Free 7-hour program option for infant to 4 years of age to income eligible families.  They provide healthy meals and snacks, daily tooth brushing, read-aloud, outdoor play, music, art, math, science, and social skill building.  Head Start engages the whole family while preparing children to be life-long learners.
