Chicago’s Dan O’Conor, dubbed the “Great Lake Jumper,” jumped into Lake Michigan on June 13, 2020 and decided to do it everyday since. Why, tho?
He celebrated his 365th jump this week and it was a huge event.

Once Dan grew a following, he encouraged those following along to support CIVL, the Chicago Independent Venue League advocating on behalf of the city’s independent performance venues. Dan has had lots of musicians join him for his jumps over the past year but WILCO’s Jeff Tweedy played for his 365th jump!
