UM, A WILLY WONKA ORIGIN MUSICAL IS IN THE WORKS STARRING TIMOTHÉE CHALAMET?

Ever wonder how Willy Wonka got so weird? I suppose I have but I’m not sure we need another dang film about it. Not just a movie, it will be a musical, because of course it will.
Timothée Chalamet is set to play Willy Wonka in a musical based on the early life of the eccentric owner of the delicious Wonka Chocolate Factory. Warner Bros. and the Roald Dahl Story Co. announced the project will be brilliantly called “Wonka.” The studio said the film will “focus on a young Willy Wonka and his adventures prior to opening the world’s most famous chocolate factory.” Rumor has it, “Wonka” will hit theaters in March 2023.
I guess if it leads to weird candy when it finally releases… I’ll give it a shot.
