Z93 MORNING BUZZ PICKED UP 5 WISCONSIN BROADCASTERS AWARDS!

This weekend was the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Awards Gala. Of course, it was virtual this year but they really put some cool elements into the event to make it fun. It’s basically like the Emmys for Wisco radio and TV.

Brittany and Ballzer took home another 5 awards this year!
First place for “Best Pandemic-Related Service to Community” for our COVID interview with Kinsey Gibbs,  Assistant Nutrition Manager at Northwoods Elementary.
Second place for “Best Significant Community Impact” for Z93’s Season of Giving, and “Best Original Feature” for Fit Fun Fab.
Third place wins for “Best Morning Radio Show” and “Best Coverage of Civil Discourse and Social Change” for our interview with Shaundel Spivey, Co-Founder and President of the local non profit organization, Black Leaders Acquiring Collective Knowledge.

We weren’t the only ones at Mid-West Family La Crosse to pick up WBA Awards!

Big congrats to Ken Cooper, who won awards for his Around River City Podcast and his amazing work writing and producing this gem that still makes Brittany cry <3

Sending mad love to Z93’s night guy, Grant, who also hosts the WISCO Sports Show from 4p-6p on WKTY. He picked up a first place award for Best Radio Show in News and Talk and Dave Carney, Mornings on WKTY, picked up a few more, including Best Morning Show in News and Talk.
